Ministers must step in to end rail dispute – Baker

Commenting on First Capital Connect’s cancellation of 28 trains because of driver shortages, Liberal Democrat Shadow Transport Secretary, Norman Baker said:

“This cannot be allowed to continue. Passengers cannot have endless disruption because of a dispute between a company and a union.

“The Department for Transport needs to play a more active role in bringing all sides together with a view to ending this dispute.”
